Qualified Health Plan (QHP) Directory Pilot

Date: 06/13/25

You may have already heard that the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) will be launching the Qualified Health Plan (QHP) Directory Pilot (“the pilot”) in the state of Oklahoma this summer. The pilot will establish an automated, statewide, centralized directory for you – providers and facilities participating in QHPs in Oklahoma.

The pilot is seeking voluntary user testers to virtually test the QHP Directory Pilot User Interface (“the portal”). Virtual testing will take place Monday, June 16 through Friday, June 20. During that time, registered testers (providers, facilities, and their assigned delegates) will login to the portal via cms.gov/QHPDirectoryPilot, review and verify their pre-populated directory information, and update any information (if needed). Testing access to the portal and reviewing and verifying information should not take more than one (1) hour in total – and most likely will take less time.

About User Testers: If you have a role in managing or supporting provider (NPI Type 1) or organization (NPI Type 2) information in the National Plan and Provider Enumeration System (NPPES) via the CMS Identity & Access Management System (I&A), then you are an eligible tester. The fastest way to become a voluntary user tester is click User Tester Registration to sign up.

In addition, the CMS QHP Directory Pilot has shared information in the attached PDF for you to learn more about the pilot, user testing registration and expectations, testing the portal, and additional resources.
