Hundreds of Families Received Screenings and Services at Oklahoma Complete Health Member Event

Date: 05/07/26

More than 300 members and families received direct access to health care services, screenings and community resources during Oklahoma Complete Health’s free member event on May 2 at the Community Health Centers of Oklahoma. Attendees received same-day vision screenings, sports physicals, and child well-check exams, while also connecting with health plan representatives and 25 community partners offering local support services.

“Our member events are designed to meet people where they are and connect them to the care and resources they need,” said Oklahoma Complete Health President and CEO Clay Franklin. “This event reflects our commitment to improving the health of the communities we serve, one person at a time.”

Services such as vision screenings and physical exams help remove barriers to care and support members in maintaining their health and well-being.

The event delivered measurable impact for members and families, including:

  • 401 meals were served to attendees
  • 113 vision screenings
  • 74 pairs of glasses distributed
  • More than 70 haircuts provided

Members also enjoyed family-friendly activities like face painting and raffles throughout the day.

SoonerSelect enrollment is open until June 12. Members can call the SoonerCare helpline at 1-800-987-7767 and ask to speak to a Choice Counselor to learn more.
